Bob McCane
First and foremost, I am a computer geek. I love every aspect of computers from IT to designing. Brainstorming, researching, problem solving, formulating ideas and concepts to the finished product are all in my wheelhouse. Computer life is in my soul!
My design philosophy stems from my diverse education in both the tactical, hands-on nature of landscape design to the principles and processes I employ around programs and operating systems encompassing computer design and IT skills to serve my clients. Learning IT and design processes and principles is about much more than just knowing the program or operating systems; those are easy to learn, customer service is the key.
Growing up in the Adirondacks of New York, surrounded by mother nature, inspired me to attend landscape design college. Shortly after graduating, computers came to the fore and I fell into the technical aspect of networking and immersed myself in the nuts and bolts of computers. Eventually longing for creative pursuits I went back to college to study computer animation and fell in love with the design process and designing became my passion. I consider myself a lifelong, self-described student and avid reader; I never tire of learning new things and experimenting with new programs and software.
My work experience, coupled with my family's background in construction, have molded my career. My background as an engineer, help desk analyst, and the like, coupled with website designer, print designer and business owner enable me to understand many diverse industries -- whether you need a small e-commerce design or large-scale business website. My proven approach working at start-ups to government entities and wearing many hats enables me to understand client's needs and put those needs first. I can help you with one-on-one consultations, responsive support, IT analyst and innovative web design to take your project to the next level. My skill set is diverse and I'm continually learning and growing.
My skills are diverse. I have a great interest in many things, Adobe's vast array of software programs are built for experimentation. Being a designer and a computer geek, I love to play with many programs and computer concepts. The constant change, can be daunting and fun at the same time. I learn very quickly and I have a knack for figuring things out quickly and efficiently. Learning new things, solving problems and having challenges is what makes me tick.
